Please note that there are changes to session times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The arrangements for the return to school on March 8th 2021 are here:
Times of sessions (non-COVID-19):
8.55am – 12.00 noon
All children may enter their classroom from 8.45 am onwards. Parents are requested not to send their children to school before 8.45am as it is not possible to provide supervision before this time. Parents are responsible for seeing Year R and Year 1 children to the classroom door and Year 2 children to the main entrance door. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children before 8.45am even when on school premises.
The children are taught for 21 hours 30 minutes per week.
The Nursery sessions are from 8.30–11.30 am and 12.30–3.30 pm each day.
Nursery aged children are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education per week. Contact the office for further information.
Pupils at Crest Infant and Nursery School are able to attend our Active Breakfast Club (resuming in Term 5 2021 following the lockdown period). This provision is led by MFSE, a local Ofsted registered organisation which also leads some of our after school and weekend clubs as well. Martin Forbes and his team of coaches are highly reputable and we love working with them.
MFSE hope to open an after school childcare facility at Crest soon but in the meantime children requiring after school care can attend the City Way provision which operates out of Delce Academy. Please contact our school office for further information.
